Projects were change of use of existing use of extended stay hotel or elderly living facilities into studio apartments. Minimal construction and upgrade to the facilities in each unit, and some modifications to the shared or common space areas to include more amenities for the residents such as larger laundry facilities. The complexity with         these types of projects is the municipality requirements for documentation of the facilities to approve the change of use. We were responsible for all Zoning approvals as well as Building Department approvals. We were able to use the Building Code and the Existing Building Code with various compliance methods for approvals.
